Race: Shapeshifter [Marbled Cat :: Pardofelis marmorata]
Phsyical Details: Uruha is finely sculpted; his body toned in all the right places to make him appealing to all sexes which he frequently takes advantage of. His hair is an odd natural colour of gold, white and black; these colours matching the fur of his animal persona. His eyes are a shade of piercing frozen green that can be quite disturbing if he has you settled in his feline gaze. His humanity is almost perfect save the gentle interruption of cat ears that are permantently placed atop his head and do not leave him no matter how many times he switches from human to animal. Given his underground lifestyle amongst the other real humans this generally isn’t a problem and not many pay attention to them. In his animal form; he is one of the small and very rare marbled cats [They are not native to Japan but his ancestors were brought from Sumatra]; his tail creating most of his length in a sleek bushy mess but he doesn't use this form often, mostly only when seeking a different kind of affection, as a way to quickly get to classes and whenever he's become angered. His animal appearance is often mistaken for an exotic domestic bengal given it's small size.
Personality: To most Uruha is tame; a permanent kitten of sorts. He’ll purr when you pet him just right but has a nasty streak if you provoke or piss him off enough. He's a joker, almost always late and very very clumsy. His feet often being the first target of his tripping over but is always ready to laugh it off no matter the scrapes, bumps and bruises he gets. He does often suffer dizzy spells and moments of euphoria related to his problematic shapeshifting abilities; these however do not detract from his effortlessly bright and bubbly personality. Given a chance with the right topic on his tongue he will talk his companions ear off. He hates silence and always has something random to spout off in the case of that happening.
Background: Born and bred in Kyuusho Kyusai by the last remaining Marbled Cat shapshifters in Japan; Uruha grew up fairly decently in Haven without much problem, save his shifting problems which he still experiences to this day. Uruha’s first experience with real humans was when he was sent to a human boarding school in the neighbouring human city at the age of 15. School for him ahd always been easy no matter how many classes he skipped he was always at the top and well ahead of his year. In Junior year he was involved in a major fight concerning a group of rogue Vampires finding a use for one of his classmates at the back of a new club he had been told to check out. He saved her barely and from that point on he has had a huge lack of respect for any Vampire.
He made good friends with the girl he saved and she introduced him to the fringe way of life he leads away from school hours. His parents really do not find this way he has changed acceptable but they suffer it because of their love for their son and the fact that he is in no way failing. Uruha currently attends a top University and is studying to be a Biologist while working part time in Schism [although the vampires he serves are never given a warm greeting]. He also has a major role in the Animal conservation society and is a passionate campaigner for the safety of all big cats. Life for him is busy and this is the way he enjoys it.
